Stephanie has been studying and practising yoga for 18 years. Her foundations are in both the Iyengar and Hatha traditions and more recently to a Vinyasa flow.
Yoga has continues to make a profound difference in her life. This passion for yoga led her to study in Chennai, India in 2007, with A.G. and Indrah Mohan, Svastha Yoga & Ayurveda, where she gained her qualifications in yoga and yoga therapy.
Since 2008 she has been teaching private/corporate clients, small classes and regular classes at Titans Fitness (Saturday, 8:30am) and The Juniors (Monday, 7:00pm).
She designs the yoga practice to work with the season and takes into consideration an individual’s physical and emotional state. Yoga is for every body, no matter how flexible or strong. Modifications are instructed to keep students safe and benefit from the practice that the individual needs at any given time.
Yoga is about giving yourself that precious time to get connected with your breath, which becomes the bridge to allow the body to move, stretch, flex, build strength and create space. It is becomes great opportunity to drop the mind chatter … “Dear mind please be quiet and let my body speak”.
